At Monterrey Airport, we’ve implemented an intuitive, automated system powered by Foundspot’s Artificial Intelligence. This innovative solution allows you to actively participate in the process of searching, matching, and retrieving your lost items quickly and efficiently.

Follow these steps to find and recover your belongings:

Report Your Lost Item

Register the lost item on our platform, providing key details such as:

• A description of the item.
• The date and location where you believe you left it.

Match Detection

Our system, in collaboration with Foundspot, automatically identifies matches between lost items registered by passengers and those found by our team. If a match is detected:

• You’ll receive an instant email with the subject line: “We’ve Found a Match!”
• You can validate and confirm the item directly from your email.

Confirmation and Collection Options

Once you confirm the item belongs to you, you’ll have two options to retrieve it:

• Pick it up in person at our Lost and Found office (check our schedule and ID requirements).
• Have it delivered to your preferred address via courier (subject to availability and associated costs).

Items in custody 

Found items will be securely stored in our Lost and Found office for up to 45 days. We encourage you to act quickly to ensure successful recovery.

Safety and trust

We follow strict procedures to ensure that only legitimate owners can claim lost items.
