Katya Minerva Somohano Silva
- Nationality: Mexican and Spaniard.
- Ms. Katya Minerva Somohano serves as Planning and Sustainability Director at Iberdrola Mexico since June 2022. Ms. Somohano previously served as Energy and Sustainability Director at DEACERO from 2019 to 2022. In 2014 she joined Comisión Federal de Electricidad (CFE), the state-owned electric utility of Mexico, where she served as Head of the Investment Promotion Unit (2014-2016) and as Chief Executive Officer of CFE Calificados, a subsidiary of CFE, from 2016 to 2018. She also served as General Director of Hydrocarbons Boards for the Mexican Ministry of Energy from 2013 to 2014. Ms. Somohano's experience in the infrastructure sector includes having been Project Manager at Impulsora de Desarrollo Económico para América Latina (IDEAL). Ms. Somohano holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from the University of Cambridge, and a Law Degree with Honors from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM).
